培训签证（407类别），允许签证申请人在澳大利亚临时居留，参与职业培训或专业发展项目，提升申请人在职业技能，专业和发展领域的技能。
该签证允许申请人在澳洲居住最多两年。
407签证优势

407签证适合人群：
- 第一类;为获得行业注册资格（license or registration）接受在职培训的申请人 (Occupational training required forregistration)
- 第二类:为提高工作技能而接受在职培训的申请人 (Occupational training to improve skills in an eligible occupation)
- 第三类:为提升海外申请者的技能而进行培训的申请人 （Occupational training for capacitybuilding overseas）
407签证申请主要评估要求：
- 雇主担保：对境内（澳洲）的雇主的要求
- 评估申请人的学历
- 评估申请人境外的工作经验
407申请步骤和要求:
①雇主担保资格，需要满足：

- 在澳洲合法经营的公司，政府机构或者海外政府机构
- 雇主必须直接提供在职培训（除非特殊情况下例外）
- 无不良经营记录
- 能够履行雇主义务
②提名

- 提名在407职业清单上的职业
- 有培训计划书
- 每周至少30小时在职培训
③申请人要求：
-
- 过去2年中至少1年全职经验，包括学习和工作经验
- 有雅思均分4.5分（无单项要求）
- 有真实的临时在澳居住的意图
- 身体健康，品行良好
- 有健康保险
407签证费用（ 适用于2024-25财年）：
- AUD415
407签证审理时间（2024年6月更新）：
- 50% of applications: 40 天
- 90% of applications: 6个月
获批后407签证申请可否换雇主：
持有407类别签证后是可以换雇主的，需要注意：
在换雇主前需要遵守407的签证条款8102，要求如下：
407持有人的工作必须跟培训或学习内容相关，如果从事其他不相关的培训和学习，会违反该条款，签证面临被取消的风险。
签证持有人换雇主前，需要确认：
1. 新雇主是否有407担保资格？
- 若没有担保资格，新雇主需要申请担保资格后和申请人的407签证关联即可。
2. 新雇主的职位和培训内容是否改变？
- 如果新雇主和现有职位做一样的培训，不需要递交新407签证。否则需要重新递交提名和签证和更新培训计划。
- 若有变化则需要递交新的提名和签证申请。407签证是跟培训计划紧密挂钩的，培训计划变了，签证长度会受影响，所以必须申请新签证。
