验光师Optometrist如何获得职业评估
验光师是一项专业的医疗保健职业，通过全面的眼科检查来检测和治疗各种视力异常和眼部疾病，从而提供初级眼保健服务,使用各种复杂的技术和仪器来了解患者的需求。根据SEEK5月1日更新的数据，验光师的薪资在每年10万-12万澳币。
OCANZ评估职业：251411验光师 Optometrist
验光师和视力矫正师的工作职责
- 检查病人眼部，进行测试以确定视力问题和异常状况
- 通过测量视力敏锐度和屈光不正，评估眼部健康和视力功能，用特别的眼部测试仪器测试视觉通道的功能、视野、眼部运动、视力和眼压的自由度等
- 检查和诊断眼部疾病，向病人咨询在其他医疗机构治疗的情况，为眼部疾病开具诊断的处方
- 诊断眼球运动异常和双眼功能缺陷
- 配制合适和舒服的镜片、隐形镜片和弱视配件
- 制定协调眼部运动和集中视力的练习
- 制定眼球运动异常的管理程序，为正确使用仪器和眼保健操提供指导和咨询
- 提供视力健康方面的咨询，例如隐形眼镜的维护、老年人视力保护、光学、视觉工效学和工作场所的眼部安全
- 开展预防性检查计划
- 为视障人士开展康复计划
关于技术评估机构OCANZ：
澳大利亚和新西兰验光委员会OCANZ (Optometry Council of Australia and New Zealand)是由移民部指定的验光师职业评估机构。已在澳大利亚州政府登记的申请人可直接申请职业评估，否则，需参加 OCANZ主办的验光师能力考试，作为职业评估的一种形式。
对通过考试的申请者OCANZ职业评估有效期为3年；对已注册过的申请者OCANZ的职业评估有效期为1年。
移民职业评估流程：
境内澳大利亚毕业生
1.认证课程查询：点击查看课程
2.注册成为澳洲验光师：
完成验光师认证课程后的两年内直接向澳大利亚验光师委员会OPTOMETRY BOARD OF AUSTRALIA申请注册，或者毕业前的6个星期之内完成注册。申请需提交Form1表格（即移民职业评估申请表，备注：通过注册方式拿到的职业评估有效期为一年）。验光师注册要求英文能力满足以下的一种情况即可：
a.在受认可国家（包含澳洲、加拿大、新西兰、爱尔兰、南非、英国和美国）完成小学和中学的纯英文教学。并且高等教育（如本科、硕士）是验光师相关的专业。
b.在受认可国家完成至少两年中学的纯英文教学。高等教育（本科、硕士）是验光师相关的专业。
c.在受认可国家完成至少六年连续的包含高等教育的纯英文教学，要求学习的是验光师相关专业。
英语成绩达到如下要求之一：
d.学术雅思7分，且单科不低于7分(均分7分且单科不低于6.5分)；
d1.OET成绩B，且单科不低于B：(听说读写均分B且单科不低于C)；
d2.PTE 65分，且单科不低于65分（均分65且单科不低于58分)；
d3. 托福总分94，其中听24读24写27说23（至少听20读19写24说20）。
请注意，括号内是针对6个月内两次考试的成绩拼凑的要求,时间从日期早的考试开始计算。上述四种情况的成绩有效期是提交申请前的两年内。
若英文成绩超过两年期限，则需满足下列要求（二选一）：
e.一直在受认可国家从事注册验光师（要求参加英语考试后的12个月内开始工作）。并且要在完成最后一段工作后的12个月之内提交申请。
f.一直在参加澳洲委员会认可的课程学习（要求参加英语考试后的12个月之内开始学习），并且完成每个学期所有课程的学习。并且要在完成学习后12个月内提交申请。

境外中国毕业生
a.需要先填写Form3表格（即考试资格评估），评估时间大约为6周。
b.通过考试资格评估后，就可以参加Competency in Optometry Examination (COE)验光师能力考试。通过COE考试即通过移民职业评估。
备注：通过考试方式拿到的职业评估有效期为三年。

COE验光师能力考试英文名称Competency in Optometry Examination（更新于2023年1月）
验光师考试指南GUIDE TO THE OCANZ COMPETENCY IN OPTOMETRY EXAMINATION
若申请人所持境外学历未获得OCANZ的认可，须递交相关资料以作评估，并通过评估之后方可参加考试。申请者的要求如下：
1. 学历：学士学位或以上，需完成至少4年全日制验光师课程或3年全日制课程加专业考试通过之后1年临床实习；
2. 英语：A类雅思4个7或OET考试4部分是 a或 b，在2年内获得。
COE分笔试、文化安全培训及临床考试3个部分，考生必须通过所有考试项目。
培训包括6 个教程和测试。 在 6 个教程中有 28 个简短的课程，课程包括视频、活动、定义和理论，然后会将其应用于现实生活中的案例研究。 考生可自定进度随时登录完成各项教程任务。所有测试分数必须达到80%以上才算完成该培训，允许多次尝试。
3. 临床考试（Clinical Examination）
临床考试分为两个部分，包括技能考试 (Skills Station examination) 和病人护理考试 (Patient examination)。考生必须先通过技能考试才能参加病人护理考试。考生在完成笔试后的3年内必须通过临床考试，超过三年需重新从笔试开始。
